Clara Shih
Clara is founder and CEO of Hearsay Labs, which provides software to help companies securely manage and measure their presence across Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. Clara's new bestselling book, The Facebook Era: Tapping Online Social Networks to Build Better Products, Reach New Audiences, and Sell More Stuff has been featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, CRM Magazine, Selling Power Magazine, and is being used as a marketing textbook at Harvard Business School. In 2007, Clara created the first business application on Facebook with her Faceconnector application, which integrates Facebook and Salesforce CRM.

Previously, Clara was Product Line Director of the AppExchange at, where she also led the company's partnerships with Facebook and LinkedIn. She has also worked in corporate strategy and software development at Google and Microsoft. Clara has a BS in computer science and economics and MS in computer science from Stanford University, as well as a MS in internet studies from Oxford, where she studied as a United States Marshall Scholar. She is a frequently invited keynote speaker on social media at global conferences including AlwaysOn, Web 2.0 Expo, Enterprise 2.0, CRM Evolution, Direct Marketing Association, American Marketing Association, Toronto TechWeek, and Social Ad Summit. A Bay Area native, Ciara has extensive experience in creative communication, including art direction, copywriting, interactive design, and brand strategy. Currently an interactive designer at, Ciara has contributed to game-changing innovations including the Service Cloud Twitter integration, a mechanism for companies to monitor and respond to real-time customer feedback,, a data tracking and fan-management site for Neil Young's electric car company, and several customer service oriented Facebook applications. Ciara recently completed her MFA in New Media and Advertising from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Todd Perry has been a software engineer at Facebook since early 2007, working on internal tools, Facebook Platform evangalism, and systems for fighting spam. Previously, Todd was as a software engineer at Palantir Technologies, and, before that, a teacher of math and AP Computer Science. Todd has a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford.

Adam Gravitis
Adam is the lead software architect for an e-payments startup in Silicon Valley. In previous roles he consulted as a market integrity engineer for a number of major stock exchanges, and served as a reserve officer with the Canadian Forces. Adam earned a degree in Engineering Science from Toronto in 2006, and is presently a doctoral candidate in Finance. In his spare time, Adam enjoys devouring books concerning bioinformatics, cryptography, complex adaptive systems and polyphony.
